VOTING INFORMATION

VOTING AND NOMINATIONS
- Any property owner (resident or landlord) may run for a seat on the board or for an officer's position.
- The owner's dues account must be current in order to vote at the Annual Meeting or be considered for nomination as a Board Member or Officer.
- Volunteers for Nominations are solicited at the Annual Meeting.
Voting Packet
The Covenant requires all ballots to be sent by email or snail mail 2 weeks prior to the date of the Annual Meeting.
- Cover letter inviting members to attend the Annual Meeting, giving the time, date and location of the meeting.
- Information regarding any particular topic being covered at the Annual Meeting beyond the Treasurer's Report and updates on projects in and around the development.
- Information explaining the meaning of a directed proxy should the member not be able to attend the meeting.
- A ballot listing all the candidates running for election who have been nominated, seconded and have agreed to run at the time of the mailing.
- A return envelope for the directed proxy addressed to the Virginia Knolls Community Association Inc.
(Floor nominations may be made on site on the evening of the Annual Meeting)
