A Good Night in the Neighborhood

Our Labor Day cookout was pretty simple — and that was kind of the point.

Neighbors came out, brought food, talked, played cornhole and basketball, and let the kids run around together for the evening.

We had a great turnout, with roughly 15–20 neighbors and kids coming through during the cookout, and a lot of people told us they had a good time.

No big production. Just a nice evening hanging out with the people who live around us.

Thanks to everyone who came out, brought something, helped set up, or just stopped by for a while.

Events like this don't need to be complicated. Sometimes it's just nice to get outside, meet a few more neighbors, and let the kids have some fun.
